I think it's safe to say that I do not care for this.
Touched based with everywhere that I was at on Saturday.
Jordan brought up the harrowing possibility that I could have left it in one of the cabs we took. Which would be a total needle in a haystack time.

I'm mostly resigned to be phoneless for this week, but I'm going to look into getting a replacement at the AT&T store. I want to say that I got the insurance, considering how hard I tend to be on phones.

For now, if you need to get ahold of me, e-mail is the way to go.
the ONLY way to go.

update: Since I had the foresight to get insurance on it, they are already sending me a replacement, should be here in a day or two. If the old one is found I ship it back, no problems. Plus it looks like I *DID* hotsync sometime in the last couple weeks, so all that was really lost was some song notes, a couple phone numbers and, of course, all the text messages I had.

Hell YEAH.
Shut that shit down!

WASHINGTON — Advisers to President-elect Barack Obama say one of his first duties in office will be to order the closing of the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay. That executive order is expected during Obama's first week on the job _ and possibly on his first day, according to two transition team advisers. Both spoke Monday on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

Obama's order will direct his administration to figure out what to do with the estimated 250 al-Qaida and Taliban suspects and potential witnesses who are being held at Guantanamo.

It's still unlikely the prison would be closed any time soon. Obama last weekend said it would be "a challenge" to close it even within the first 100 days of his administration.

I knew on some level that this was coming, but maaaaan, one week left.
So rad.
